Course Overview: Upon completion of this the course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate the necessary skill for career development, maintenance of employability, and successful completion of course outcomes
- Identify employment opportunities in the information technology field with focus in the area of interactive media
- Demonstrate knowledge and appropriate use of hardware, software, and connectivity technologies
- Complies with practices and behaviors that meet legal and ethical responsibilities
- Aquire electronic information in a variety of formats, using research skills and electronic communication to create new knowledge with appropriate supervision
- Evaluate electronic information
- Evaluate and employ computer-based productivity tools to create and modify web and digital media designs
- Demonstrate knowledge of Internet programming strategies
- Employ knowledge of web programming to develop and maintain web applications
- Employ knowledge of web administration to develop and maintain web applications
- Evaluate a problem and create a written plan of action for meeting client requirements
- Create and implement a written plan of action in the development of a web product
Materials:

Grading Policy: Grades will be broken down into these categories-
- Daily Grades and Quizzes – 40%
- Tests and Projects – 60%
There will be at minimum 10 Daily Grades/Quizzes and 2 Tests/Projects per 9 week grading period. Grades will be completed and returned within 1 week of assignment completion.
Make up Work/Absences: We will follow the Student Handbook Rules here. For each day you are absent from class, you will have that many days to complete any missing assignments.
Retests: There will be no retests, however, you will be giving the option of completed an extra assignment to bring any failing test grade up to a 70.
